I am 10 weeks into my journey with kim2bfit. The knowledge I have gained in this short time will last me the rest of my life and I am so thankful to Kim and Herson for all they have done. In 2007, I had hit my highest weight and was miserable. I heard about a local doctor who had a weight loss program and it was as simple as taking a pill and a vitamin shot for the “low” cost of $69 a week. I thought I had found my answer. I won’t lie and tell you this route did not work because I did lose lots and lots of weight and was thinner than I had been in years. Everywhere I went people would stop me and asked me how I did it and there was always a big part of me that was embarrassed…happy at how I now looked but embarrassed that I had to resort to pills and an unhealthy (low carb) diet to achieve those results. I maintained the results until becoming pregnant in March 2008. I always thought that once the baby came out and my nursing days ended, I would go right back to the doctor, get the pills and be just as thin and that is exactly what I did! Within the first few weeks of taking the pill I started having the same side effects as I had the first time taking them-my heart would race uncontrollably , I couldn’t sleep, I had a sharp pain in my side and my hair thinned out significantly. One morning after a regular workout my heart was racing, I couldn’t catch my breath and I got scared. I made the decision that day that my life was more valuable than being thin knowing that the diet pills were the cause. I struggled for a few months with what to do next. Low carb hadn’t worked and wasn’t something I could do for life, pills weren’t worth the risk, and my options seemed few. I had known Kim for years through the gym and I FINALLY decided that in order to win my battle with weight I had to take it off the right way once and for all and I was confident Kim could help me. I knew it would be a long journey and not a quick fix but losing weight the right way is a journey worth taking. After 10 weeks, I am amazed with the results with Kim and Herson. My body is transforming daily and although my journey is just beginning, I am so proud of my results. This time I will hold my head up high as people notice my transformation and I will be able to say that I lost it the old fashioned way- watching my calories and fat intake (and I can eat carbs J) and exercise. To me, that is PRICELESS!

I
never thought I could have so much self confidence and not only build
my inner strength but my physical strength as well. I'm almost 50 and
have lost about 43lbs. between Kim and Weight Watchers. If it wasn't
for Terri to convince me to join the "Get Buff" Boot camp and the
outstanding skills of Kim and Herson in keeping me motivated and
determined to get healthy I would not be where I am today. Because of
Kim's expertise, I feel fantastic, I'm down 4 dress sizes, I've lost
about 3" from my waist and hips and I sleep better at night not to
mention I have more get up and go. I would recommend Kim's programs to
anyone and if I can do it....so can you. She's tuff but that's what
it's all about.

I first met Kim through Anytime Fitness
almost 2 years ago. I had never had any personal training before but I
just wasn't getting the results I wanted doing it on my own. I was
stuck in the same routine that just wasn't helping me anymore, and
trying to diet based on what I thought was right. Kim was wonderful,
she has shared so much information with me about nutrition and how
to make the most out of my workout. I saw a change right away. I still
continue to learn things from her, im always trying to get to that next
level, and she's always there to help me. Working with her has been the
best thing I could have done for myself. The time and effort she has
put in to helping me with everything from challenging new workouts,
to meal planning, and taking my measurements every few months. I can't
thank her enough for all the support.
New Beginnings
We
are an active retired couple who were searching for a professional to
teach us some new techniques to strengthen our muscles and support our
determination to stay healthy.
After
six months of hard work and being guided by Kim Garcia we are happy to
say that we have made significant progress in our exercise plan to keep
an active and healthy lifestyle. Thanks Kim for making a difference in
our lives!

My inspiration comes from seeing my mother suffering......knowing she would never exercise. I
will do whatever it takes to avoid diabetes. I will do whatever it
takes to stay limber. I may still end up with problems and maybe worse
but I am going to TRY! She is so sick of being sick and having pain
(which possibly could partially have been avoided).
Sometimes
I don't want to exercise (it's hard to retrain your brain) All I have
to do is picture my mother and I get up and go! I think some people
need a "trigger" so to speak. (It would be easy to slip back to "old
habits".)

I have trained with Kim for almost a year now. I have done one on one training, group training and I am on my third group challenge with Kim. Everytime I learned something new from her. For instance, I knew it is important to drink water, but how important only after being reinerated to me like a thousand times by Kim. When I had my consultation with Kim, she asked what I wanted. I told her that I wanted my arms smaller and my stomach flat and that those were the spots I wanted to work on. She was honest with me and told me there is no such thing as spot reduction and that I had to work as a whole body rather then spot reduction. She gave me insight on what the right portions and the right foods are to eat to have a healthy lifestyle and to maintain the habits to achieve my goals. She is constantly in touch with you via emails or phone calls. Always encouraging to stay focused on your goals with inspiring emails and coming up with different receipes to make sure that I do not stray from the right foods to achieve the goals that I have set-doing the research for me. I had been noticing the women who had done Kim's training get in better and better shape. So I took the plunge and decided to do one of her trainings. Well, it was WONDERFUL!
